Whenever I leave I put my Gingerdog in the garage. She is housebroken and all of that jazz, but lately no matter how long I'm gone for she always goes #2 on the floor (she even went on her couch once this week). My Bulldog's Nose...? Not Soft?!

This is my first bulldog (a Frenchie) and today I noticed that his little nose isn't soft or cold or moist at all. In fact, it's hard and quite dry. Is this normal for a French Bulldog or other flat nosed breeds?
