My Bulldog's Nose...? Not Soft?!

• My Bulldog's Nose...? Not Soft?! Chris Hoyt Posted : 11/16/2006 10:53:23 PM This is my first bulldog (a Frenchie) and today I noticed that his little nose isn't soft or cold or moist at all.  In fact, it's hard and quite dry. Is this normal for a French Bulldog or other flat nosed breeds? • Chris Hoyt Posted : 11/19/2006 9:52:53 PM Mystery solved!  (at least according to my Vet.) Apparently the tongues are so long that they're always licking their nose and it tends to make them dry.  He suggested some KY or similar to be rubbed lightly about once a week and said that it was perfectly normal.
