I'm looking for when it just says (or so I thought, I could be wrong) "We have always been at war with Eurasia."
And I think that's towards the end of him being tortured, after the 2+2=5 part. That part was one of the first parts of him being in room 101. The part where it says "We have always been at war with Eurasia" might even be after the torture.
I'm sorry, I can't remember.
I want to use it as a finishing comment in my conclusion paragraph because of the torture being done to Winston could be comparable to the torture that was done to the suspected terrorists for reasons that are similar (the keyword being "suspects").
The thought is, you know, to get them to admit something that isn't true.
er...perhaps I could use the 2+2=5 quote for that...
I'm tired, which would you think would sound better or be more fitting? Because I could use the Eurasia quote in my OPINION of the subject (we have to include our opinion on the subject after we're done with the formal part of the paper) because that is how I kind of view the whole "war" in ways. Anyway, it's all brainwashing, I suppose it doesn't matter.
Thanks for helping me!
Oh, and what is the exact 2+2=5 quote?
