Frenchie people.... health question
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I am not jumping to any conclusions, because the adopter-outers probably won't even like me.... (I don't fit their criteria), but I emailed someone today about a French Bulldog they are re-homing... (see "Cheating on your dog" below). Anyway, I haven't heard back from them yet...

Hey, My Maggie is 6 months old and we thought housebroken at about 4 months, just recently she started wetting in the house again, this has my parents upset, saying she should be trained by now. What do you think could be going on with her? When we see her start to go we sternly say "no potty...

Exclusive May Not Be Going So Well :-(
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
How long does it take for you to see a bad reaction with a new food? Lizzie has been on Exclusive Puppy (Chicken and Rice) and the day before yesterday she got a bad bout of diarea (?) and yesterday she was still pooping a bit mushy. This morning when I went to take her out of her crate the poor girl...

How much exercise?
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Hi everyone. I have a question. How many hours of exercise would a small, 5 month old mix breed pup need? I have a "full-blooded mutt", and this pup will not stop running. He just runs around my backyard, hard and fast, and I cannot get his attention for hours. How can I calm the hyperactivity...

Refusing to eat--behavioral issue
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
OK, well, most of you know Willow is a very fussy eater who recently started eating like there's no tomorrow. Well, she's slowed down a bit now and I'm afraid heading to refusing food again even though she's getting the exact same food she was plowing thru a month ago. She's...

Rough elbows?
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I just noticed yesterday that Pofi has small, rough patches on each of his front leg "elbows". Very small, no bigger than a nickel, of rough dry skin with no fur. His coat elsewhere is shiny, soft, healthy looking. He eats a grain free food (Solid Gold Barking at the Moon). I've also tried...

So, I got my dog, Andy, from a shelter about 2 months ago. When I got him he was about a year and a half, and he is a German Shepherd/Collie mix. He's the sweetest thing, but I am having problems getting him to pay attention when I am trying to dicipline him. He pays attention to my husband, but...

My husband and I have two large mixed breeds, named Jack and Floyd, who are going to be13 years soon. We're lucky since they don't have health problems and are still pretty active for their age. The other day my husband surprised our 5 year old daughter with a very active, mixed breed puppy,...

I am currently feeding Fromm Duck and Sweet Potato. So far, so good. Going back to the post about big dog food companies v.s. small food companies, I don't see or hear much about this food, so I was wondering if anyone has tried this. The ingredients look impressive. Anyone heard anything good or...
