aggression towards intact males

Hi everyone [ ] Just wondering if anyone has any experience with a dog who likes every dog he's met except unneutered males..... he growls and tried to jump up/on them - doesn't bite, but isn't given too long to try it, either. I hate going to the dog park since then we have to keep him on...

But, ok, Ella is on 1500 mg of cephalexin since August 11th. Ella has always been a picky eater since we got her home. She only eats once a day, but eats ALL of her required food for the day at that time. Well, ever since we've started her on the cephalexin she has vomitted just about every day...

After my Fiance leaves for work, my 7mo old St. Bernard jumps into bed with me,which I allow. The only problem is, he lays on top and parallel to me. His elbows dig right into me. Is he trying to protect me now that he know's dad has left for work? or is he trying to show his dominence? Please help...

I'm coming close to the end of my undergrad studies. I thought this would be my last year but I still have 3 semesters to go and I will have a double major in Geology and Biology w/ pre-vet option. Great, 7 ½ years and I'll be done with that! Now, that's not the end, I really want to go to...

What is wrong with people?

[link http://www.petsbid.com/]http://www.petsbid.com/[/link] Very disturbing, how anyone can sell their pups to the "highest bidder" I will never understand. I hesitated even posting it because I didnt want anyone to go there and actually bid on a pet but people on here have enough...

Teaching 7 year old to Heel!
Posted to:

Hi everyone. Our rescue dog Fly is seven already and mostly a well-behaved dog but teaching her to heel is a task! When she's out on the lead she is "in the zone" and doesn't come out of it til we get to the park or get back to the house. The second she sees you with the lead/harness...

Another dog or not?
Posted to:

Hi Everyone, Sorry if this question was already adressed, but I'm new here and I'm torn about whether to get another dog or not. I have a wonderful, sweet, playful, etc. Shih Tzu who's my best pal. He's so smart and we are attached to each other. I'm home with him during the day...

Sometimes the worrying pays off...

I always worry about Sierra when I'm not around her. I don't leave her in the yard alone, I don't leave her in the car alone, stuff like that. Well I got some new nextdoor neighbors about a week ago. Sierra met their dogs through the fence (I saw two - a Rottie and a smaller dog, not sure...

What a tease!!
Posted to:

We have been keeping Static, our new kitten, isolated from the others. He got neutered, tested for the usual kitty diseases and then vaccinated. After a rough night the other night, he has vastly improved. His cries from the bathroom have caused me to lock up the other two cats and send the dogs outside...
