What is wrong with people?

Very disturbing, how anyone can sell their pups to the "highest bidder" I will never understand. Crying

I hesitated even posting it because I didnt want anyone to go there and actually bid on a pet but people on here have enough common sense not to buy from anyone like this. It is discusting and I wish there was a way to stop it.

Obviously they care nothing about their dogs if they are auctioning them off like they would auction off an inanimate object.

I feel so horribly bad for these poor animals. This just gives me one more reason why I prefer animals over people. ANimals would never auction off their owners..Is there any way to shut a place like this down? I will at least send a complaint.

GOOD FOR THEM!!!!! It's doubtful that people will listen but good for "Stray Rescue".

Oh, now I've seen everything! This is horrible, and so many unsuspecting or suspecting for that matter, people will buy their dogs from this site.

I know if any auctions pop up on Ebay for live animals, they are pulled immediately. It's not allowed on that auction site. So, I guess this is the way around that. [>:]

That is horrible!!! How can people do that?!?! I looked at some of the dogs on there. You can view potential buyers/bidders' comments... they sound so shady - "I am to notify you my interest in buying your PETS on behalf of my client.My Client has given me a quick notice to placed an order for your particular PETS.I need to get in touch with you on the negotiations if you would accept a MoneyOrder as a mode of payment." What the he** is wrong with people - it sounds like they are negotiating for a car or something. If you don't want your animal, take him/her to a shelter when they will be found a safe & loving *forever home*. Ahhhhh... I just want to bid on them all and save them [

Responses like that are money order scams.In my opinion people selling pets at auction might deserve to get scammed!

The impression I got from those "comments" was that the people posting them are scammers, possibly from Nigeria. It sounds like a tremendous amount of the SPAM out there in email, it's worded in the "queen's english" which does sound a bit dry, and that's your first clue.

Regardless, this is a horrible site and a horrible sight to see.

Urg[:@] What I really hate is when I see "Puppy Sale" in the window of stores that sell puppies. It's not a sweater. You don't just buy a puppy cause it's on sale.

I agree with "puppy sales" they are living breathing animals. Also what about quantity, item description, etc. It just makes me sick. Oh what about this listing: "True quality bred malamutes and huskies from a reputable breeder specializing in health, temperament, and size of the sled dog breeds." Yep, those pups must be from a reputable breeder since they're on an auctin site. I can't believe some people.

UGH! The "Labradoodles" are two weeks old and ready for their new homes????!!! Are you freakin kidding me! I wish there was a way to stop the stupid people from owning pets!

Yes, I knew it was some sort of scam (I could tell by their wording and the fact that they had posted the exact same comment on almost every dog's auction page), but you never know... if someone is ridiculous enough to auction their pets off on a website, then they may not have the wherewithal to find them the *RIGHT* home. Obviously this site attracts some shady people; both sellers and buyers.

One woman writes, "I can't keep her in the yard anymore so I have to sell her". Not just a pathetic excuse.. but is it really so difficult to LOOK for a GOOD home?! People looking for money with or without puppies.. [:@]

It's sad to see any animal used in any way, especially for profit.. I want to know these things to help, but a part of me doesn't want to know because these things seriously keep me up at night.

er...I'm sure those probably already exist SOMEWHERE.
And I know they already did at one time...[:@]
Why don't people, in regards to moral treatments, treat pets the same as they would a human?
Why do people think it's ok to do this type of thing? Would they auction a child off because the child wouldn't potty train?
