Does anyone know what I would need to do to work with abused dogs? It's something I would love to do, but I have no idea where to start.

I got an Alaskin Huskey about 3 days ago, and he has been a sled dog all his life. He is very fast, and can go 4 miles strait at 25mph. Now that we have him, he cant exercise (exept for when I walk him), and im worried he isnt getting enough of it. I tried to teach him to play fetch, and when i throw...

What should I do?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have an Alaskin Huskey, and I just got him about 2 or 3 days ago. The trainer used to be a musher, but retired now because... well... i dont know, because they are retired. ANYWAY, he was telling me the Gipper is one of the best sled dogs he has, most of the tracks he is head dog, and can go 4 miles...

Possible problem with newly adopted husky

He seemed quite happy to be out of the rescue, and was doing just fine up until a bit ago. Since he's been home here, he hasnt had much energy at all (just wants to lay around and sleep...

Last year at this time, my chi, Petey, got the diahhrea. The vet visit didn't turn up any parasites or anything else wrong with him. It cleared up with a home-cooked diet and some meds. Now, both chis - Winnie and Petey - have it. Exact same time as last year. Again, the vet did a fecal test,...
