puppy & parvo

• puppy & parvo Mary Vosburg Posted : 6/14/2006 12:51:00 AM our 3 and a half month old dashound puppy survived parvo.  We got him on June 1 after he made it.  Do i need to worry about him getting it again?  Anything I need to know?  He got his 1st set of puppy shots on June 9. I've enclosed a picture of my angel. If a dog gets it once and survives they will never get it again. They have a permanent immunity to it. Also dogs that have had Parvo can donate blood transfusions to dogs that are suffering from Parvo. It will increase the odds of the dog with Parvo. So how is your pup doing now?
