After much research and preparation, I adopted a 3 year old siberian husky today from a fairly local animal rescue. He seemed quite happy to be out of the rescue, and was doing just fine up until a bit ago. Since he's been home here, he hasnt had much energy at all (just wants to lay around and sleep) and he has thrown up a number of times. Initially, he was interested in water and small treats, but now he wont eat or drink at all.
The rescue noted that he likely had "kennel cough" when we adopted him today, and provided us with two medications for which we were instructed to give to him twice a day. He has a very "runny" nose - lots of mucus.
He has pooped once since he has been home, and it looked pretty normal.
Any input would be greatly apperciated!
Best,
Mike Davis
