Advice needed
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I need a bit of advice. I have a 14 month old intact male Pharaoh hound. He's great with all other dogs except two specific ones. He, in fact, wants to kill these dogs. He's gone to great lengths to coordinate attacks on one of them, involving several of his extended pack dogs in the process...

My puppy is going for 1st time boarding!
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
On Thursday Louise is doing a trial night at the boarding place to see how she does before her 'real' boarding in July. I'm so nervous, but I'm also excited for her; I'm sure she'll have lots of fun after she realizes being away from me isn't the worst thing in the whole word...

Cocker with bumps/scabs
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I have an English Cocker Spaniel- on his head, torso, neck, pretty much all over, he has small bumps. Initially it felt like it could be ticks, but when I part the hair, there are small areas of redness with some yellow/brown scab with crusting, and the hair comes out from the area. Is this simply folliculitis...

Hi all - i'm new here as of yesterday and posted my pics under anything and everything, but wanted to put up a group shot of my kids. They get their pics taken with Santa every year. Sadly, this picture was the last year our sweet Zoya, the large black and white girl, was with us. She went to the...

I took this picture last weekend at his breeders house. She was cracking up at him because he sits with his chest stuck out. I never noticed it but he totally does! I thought he looked quite distinguished in this picture. Little do you know that streams of drool are about to pour out of his mouth as...

Hey everyone, I'm new to the site and just wanted to say hello! I have 3 dogs- Hagrid, Samantha, and Porter, hence the name Triple Trouble. I just got Porter 3 weeks ago from a rescue, and Hagrid and Samantha have been with me for about 3 and 2 years, respectively. I've had dogs for most of my...

My dog eats cat food and my cat eats dog food!

Okay, I just don't understand it. I've heard of dogs eating cat food, but never of cats eating dog food. Well recently I changed my cat's food to a different brand because the store I went to didn't have her brand, and ever since then she has been eating the dog's food! I tell her...
