Tuesday chat

Theo watches the squirrels closely but he doesn't make any move towards them, so guess that we're lucky in that. The entertainment factor is worth the cost of peanuts! Thankfully the shoulder settled down. DH did a nice massage with woodlock, all down into the shoulder girdle and that seemed...

Not sure what I did wrong this weekend, but sure did wake up in a ton of pain. I was really careful all weekend not to overdo with the shoulder, but, I'm guessing Friday was too much for it. I'm all over the County on Fridays and schelping newspapers to what seems like half a zillion folks, so...

Guess I'll start today. First, from yesterday -- Doug, I second Julie's suggestion that you formally kick-off your retirement process. Just think of all the time you'll have to play with Lugnut, not to mention the human cutie-pies in your family (i.e., grandkids)! Kate, I can't imagine...

I still need a nap. Woke up at 1:00a and flip-flopped until around 3:00p. After 2 days of heavy rains, we have sunshine! My tomato plants are growing like crazy. Speaking of tomatoes, I went grocery shopping the other day and picked up a little container of cherry tomatoes. I selected the one I wanted...

Right now my dog, Bailey, is on Purina Dog Chow. We would like to change her food from that to something more healthy and good for her. She is a 9 year old yellow lab who weighs about 80 pounds. Sudden housebreaking issues - behavior problem or something else?
Posted to: Training & Behavior
Other than during her first week with us, Ruby hasn't had a housebreaking accident in 3+ years. Until recently, she was crated when we left the house. With our work schedules, DH and I can limit her crate time to 4-5 hours, max. At night she sleeps with us and has no problem holding her bladder for...

Dog Sores on Groin Area and Inflamed Lip.....Any Thoughts?
Posted to: Health & Grooming
My 2 1/2 year old black lab just began developing circular pock marks in his groin area about two days ago. He isn't acting like he's in any pain, but something like that does worry me. The left side of his lips are also inflamed and rather red. He's always been a licker, but I haven't...
