6 mo poodle, still peeing in house
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I'm working diligently to get my miniature poodle trained. We crate her and take her out on a pretty strict schedule. It seems like she has to pee so often, though. We offer her water about 5 times a day and she doesn't appear to over-drink, we also moisten her food. I didn't think this was...

Hi all! I just inherited an adorable 2-year-old male Papillon. While I had dogs growing up, I've never had one of my very own before, so I know I have a lot of learning to do! Here's a mugshot:

Another Question

This is a less "heated" subject as to speak. Any of you that breeds your dogs, and deals with another breeder's dog, how do you establish that? I mean do you leave your dog with them, somewhere else or their's with you?

Dear Pet Lover friends, I am Britney and we have a wonderful Saint Bernard named Sophie. She is our preicous baby. Growing up I had read books written by Albert Payson Terhune about collies. In all his books the collie had a mate. I grew up with my "brother" collie and always wanted to get...

Diet for sensitive stomach?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Sigh. I think Ogre may actually have the most sensitive stomach of any dog ever to exist. [8|] I got him in mid October and I still haven't figured out the best diet for him. When I got him, he was being fed Ol' Roy at the shelter, but he was picked up as a stray and I don't know what...

My collie Fly has a cut on one of her front paw pads. It didn't look too bad at first, it wasn't bleeding at all and didn't look deep- but four days later she's still constantly licking it and won't walk on it. I've been cutting down her walks and trying to keep it clean- does...

Some of youmay remember Sammy, the newf mix we took in a week ago.I noticed today that he has about 1/8 inch of stubble growing all over his entire body! Yesterday, my husband and I were doing housework. The basenjis really don't like the vaccuum so I had let them out in the backyard while I vaccuumed. My husband was working in the office with the window open. Somehow, over the noise of the vaccuum, he heard our gate open and close. He ran out of...
