• Hey! Eclipse Posted : 12/12/2006 11:32:15 AM Dear Pet Lover friends, I am Britney and we have a wonderful Saint Bernard named Sophie. She is our preicous baby. Growing up I had read books written by Albert Payson Terhune about collies. In all his books the collie had a mate. I grew up with my "brother" collie and always wanted to get another before he died to have his mate and offspring but sadly my parents didn't agree and he died and no offspring I had for his rememberance. I got Sophie b/c of the saints good nature to train her for a therapy dog, but I soon found out that she is  funny but a trouble maker. Her unpredictible behavior would make it impossible. We still wouldn't have it no other way. I am looking for a gentle and calm mate for her some day. One that could be a therapy dog. We didn`t care. Sweet, sweet dog. Too big of a dog for me or I would have one. But I love them Bernards dearly.   Saw the face again when I posted had to come back to say. Love that face.
