Posted to:
News & Entertainment
My SO and I FINALLY decided last week what our first dance song will be, and today we've been busy with a set list for the DJ. Our sense of humour is such that of course we've spent the past hour suggesting WILDLY inappropriate songs, but I know there must be a longer list. Hey, at least we are...

According to my roommates, they miss me so much that they have develop a 6th sense with which they begin to get anxious and run around the house a few minutes before I arrive…They have told me that they can already tell when I am arriving…I don’t know…well…It figures I’m...

Hi. I have a six month pointer/terrier mix name sammy. He has been housebroken for quite some time now. However, he has just started to pee and poop in my 3 & 1/2 year old's bedroom. This is the only place he has done this and I am not sure what is bringing it on. I have an older son in which...

Is it okay to crush my dog's vitamin tablet in tuna water?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
My dog, a 12-year-old Maltese, won't eat his vitamin tablet the normal way. I can get him to eat it by crushing it to powder and stirring it into water from a can of tuna, though. Is there any problem with doing it this way?

My dog uses Gentle Leader which walks ok but not great on a quiet street where there is less distractions. She still wants to pull if I slow down my pace a bit. But whenever I take her to a new place with a lot of people or things around (such as pet shops), she gets overly excited and starts getting...

Winston recently went to doggy daycare for the first time. I like the staff a lot . . . they are very proactive with the dogs and really interact with all the animals constantly. I do have a concern though and wanted some feedback . . . its regarding the facility itself. Its a large indoor play area...

It's a Snap - Bite Thresholds
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Let's say a dog snapped at you. Did he mean to bite and you were just lucky, or is it, as Kathy Sdao points out, that he inhibited his bite and gave you a warning? Do you believe that dogs who intend a bite will connect, and that dogs that don't connect intended only to warn? If all that is true...
