Interestingly, I think this is the same person who has caused a kerfuffle over on LiveJournal for insisting that the only way a good breeder can test a pit bull's gameness is, well, in the pit.
ETA that now that I've seen the end of the video about the APBT being a working breed and so many of those pictures taken from gamedogs sites, I definately know it's the same person.
Yikes. I didn't know that. I just happened to stumble across that video on Youtube and thought it was cute. [

Well, regardless of the author's opinions, I still think it's a good video. I've always defined "gameness" in my mind as "drive"....not necessarily drive to fight, but prey drive, working drive, etc. I say Sgt. Butter is "game" because already at his age, I can see that he has serious drive to work and do what I ask of him, and a fairly strong prey drive. He's learning the basics of springpole, and loves it, as well as the basics of weight pulling. Drive to do what their owners ask, and do their very best at it, is gameness in my opinion. Thinking that bullies can only prove their gameness by showing that they're willing to rip another dog apart is definitely unnecessary, desgusting, and untrue.
So there's my disclaimer. [sm=lol.gif] I didn't know that about the author, and if they really believe that, I definitely don't support their opinion.
