    Wedding invites....

Hey...Erin got me thinking..."do I still have one of our invitations?" I DO!....I am scanning it right now lol. I want to see a bunch....does anyone else have some, either in planning or that were theirs during their wedding? I'll post mine when I get it scanned...my Mom did them [:)]

One of the guests actually had one framed and gave it to us...I would have to find it though [:D]  I really liked ours, if I can find one I will scan it in too.

Here it is....the wax seal (on invite) was an H for the new last name we'd share [:)
Vellum paper over nice fall leaf patterned cardstock...

im not much of a wedding person but i really like your invitations. The wax seal is such a neat little idea. And that could be used for just about any invitation. Il have to remember that little detail the next time i do invitations for something

Here are mine.  I just ordered blank cards with hearts on them and I printed out what I wanted them to say myself.  This is just a practice one...it still needs to be centered a little better.  I also have response cards to match.

OK finally found one.  It is actually a picture the photographer took of it.

DH and I paid for our wedding so we didn't include parent names on our invitation.  I made them myself and had a good time making them!

    Gina,

I'm SO totally stealing the wax seal idea when we have the actual ceremony -- how cool! Especially since our new last name would start w/ "H" as well [;)]

Stella, "Kowalski" doesn't start with an 'H'!  ;)

Oh yes I thought it was QUITE Continental myself...lol!
My dress was Edwardian so it all just fit in well.

I would seriously love to have Kowalski as a last name [:D] but DH shot down that idea pretty quickly. He doesn't want "ethnic" names -- which means Kachinsky is no good either!

Gina, again thank you for the idea -- it's oh so romantic!
