Left and Right Heel (two Dogs)
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I've noticed that for a dog to get a title they must heel on the left side. However, I have more than one dog and would like to have one heel on the right side and one on the left when I walk them. But if I want to enter them, they both need to understand to heel on the left. So I was wondering...

Now how did this happen?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Charlie somehow managed to cut a pretty decent chuck of skin off on his left back leg. I'm not sure how long it's been like that because Brett saw it first, and it's not noticable because it's on the inside where his fur sags between bones. Sounds like an odd place, right? That's...

Fearful Indy...
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
What to do?? We got Indy when he was five months old. DH left for Iraq the following month. Indy is now 14 months old. DH came back from Iraq last Saturday, and Indy has turned into a different dog. He is so fearful now, slinking around the house with his tail tucked between his legs. The slightest thing...

For Example: Is not taking a dog to the vet and maintaining shots and such wrong? what about feeding a lesser grade of dog food? or is what you consider abuse much different? We're coming to Oxford, Pennsylvania
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
One of my students invited me, so I'm going to be at Kathy Sdao's three day clicker training workshop in June. I haven't decided whether to bring Sioux or Sequoyah - probably Sequoyah, though - she needs it more than Miss Perfect does LOL. Is anyone else from idog going?

Income tax procrastination

My son uses our tax program and has his info stored on our computer. So yesterday, in one breath, he was telling me how sick he was (flu), and in the next breath saying he was coming over to do his taxes. "Son, I don't want you coming over here if you have the flu." I could hear his heart...

Cleaning silk flowers

I have heard you can shake them in a paper bag with salt and it will clean the dust off. Anyone tried this, or another method? I got a spray one time, but found it messy and not effective.

HELP -Puppy HATES Derma Liquid in his food
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I started to add a very small amount of the Derma Liquid Fish Oil in my puppy's kibble to help with his dry skin. I noticed that it had a very strong fishy smell, and apparantly so did Winston . He won't eat his food when I put the Derma on it, he will just quietly sit next to his bowl and stare...

Dakota is still blowing!!!! Here are some more pictures of all the hair. I am shocked that he still has any hair left!!! I've of course included some pictures of the game we play when I'm brushing him: I brush, brush, brush and he jumps, jumps, jumps. I never thought a dog blowing his coat could...

New Service Dog Question

Okay, so Madison, who used to be a big 'ol love-bug is now suddenly very shy and afraid of new people. She won't come near anyone who enters my house -- if they try to go to her, she growls and runs away (or behind me). As long as she's lived with me (since 5 months - she's over 2 years...

My kitty Stretch is stalking a demon rat!

My little boy loves my old Halloween decorations and he just gave one hard plastic red eyed rat to Stretch. It's about seven inches long and it's just sitting in the hallway. Stretch looks like a big game cat in Africa stalking its dinner. He is really serious about catching this demon rat, they're...
