• My kitty Stretch is stalking a demon rat! • Julie Byers Posted : 4/6/2006 9:52:26 PM It was a great show, my cat at one end of the hallway, the elusive AfricanCatTauntingRedEyedDemonRat at the other end of the hallway.  Stretch kept peeking around the corner carefully sizing up his quary.  His chin was down low, eyes wide surveying the land.  His rump was up in the air, tail flicking in anticipation.  Those silent battle chitters he makes before pouncing making his whiskers dance.  He moved carefully, and leaped hard and fast.  When he landed on his prey, it scared him so bad his feet did not touch the floor til he made it back to the kitchen....I was laffin so hard I had tears..  which irked the cat..he can be indignant about these things. • Julie Byers Posted : 4/14/2006 11:38:00 AM Well, if cats can have heart attacks, mine may have.  I sorta put the rat on top of a battery operated race car (my son's).  I sorta taped it there.  There is a button you press that makes the car rev it's engine, and then it races forward (think Nascar).  Then I sorta set the demonnascarrat on the floor where it charged the cat, and I think he left six of his nine lives sitting on the floor in the hallway.  I can't recall the last time I laughed soooooo hard..
