A socialisation question
Posted to: News & Entertainment
We have been using the yelp-and-sulk technique when it comes to teaching Ben bite inhibition, and it already seems to be having results. However, he is a pup and I can't ignore the fact that it will be a while before he is completely reliable. Tomorrow we are having some friends over who have a young...

No more babies for us
Posted to: News & Entertainment
Hubby went to see the DR and is going to finalize the deal. We will not be having any more children. Six months ago, I really wanted another, he did not. I was so mad at him I was not speaking to him. Then I decided no more. I think it was just the idea of having a baby. Sure it seems like a great idea...

Rescue kittens almost a year later....
Posted to: News & Entertainment
I can't believe how big the rescue kitties are getting..... they are pretty much cats now. It's funny because I see their parents everyday at work, and then I come home and see how spoiled and lucky these guys are! The grey one is Bagee and the black one is Bishop.

Throwing Up...

My dog Max who is a seven year old Australian cattledog/shepherd mix seems to have a very sensitive stomach. He throws up almost every day and often has diarreah (spelling?). [&o] I don't know what is causing this. He has been like this for as long as we have had him (since he was one). He does...

Help! Is he not too young to be doing this?
Posted to: News & Entertainment

Why do dogs...
Posted to: Training & Behavior
Hey, all. I was wondering the other day about a couple of things that all dogs seem to do, and I'm curious as to if anyone knows what inspires these particular behaviors: 1) Why do dogs, especially puppies, get their favorite toy in their mouths and then just shake the heck out of it sometimes?...
