Dogs absolutely love peanut butter but I'm going to play devil's advocate here and tell you that it's really NOT all that good for them. It's a vegetable oil that isn't really digestible and it's tough on the kidneys in a big way.
OCCASIONALLY my dogs get a mite of peanut butter but nothing like 'regularly'.
Tahini - you can get that at the grocery store, usually in the ethnic foods or the Jewish foods. It's sesame 'butter' and is far easier for them to digest and in fact, good for them. Now you still don't want to use a ton, but it is a darned good substitute and they like it.
Try ricotta cheese (and I use whole milk ricotta -- they need a certain amount of animal fat) -- it's a good calcium for them.
Braunschweiger is also a yummy alternative -- it can add some variety and it's got liver in it.
