Help - Apartment to New House!
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Our dog is two years old and has lived in an apartment that entire time. While living there, we took her out on a leash for all "bathroom breaks." We recently moved into a house where she can go out into the backyard if she's tied up to a lead. As of right now, she just stays on the deck...

Some said it's the type of material it's made of for recycling purpose. I was also told that it's the amount of times you can use the bottle. So what does it really mean?

Few More Questions
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I have a few more questions. I know everyone probably expects it though because I'm new to the board. 1. My girlfriend has a chihuahua that's about 2+ years old and brodie has met him and is always up for playing with him but her dog doesn't like it and is very much a resource gaurder...

Ice cream?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have a question, is ice cream safe for dogs? For some reason, I always thought their stomach's wouldn't be able to handle it and it would give them diarrhea...is this true?? If it is, I know chocolate is out of the question...should I just stick with plain Vanilla?

Tips for nail clipping?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
What should I do about a dog who won't let me clip her nails? She, like many dogs, doesn't like her feet touched. I know you're supposed to touch their feet a lot when they're puppies to prevent this, but I didn't get her until she was about 6 or 7 months old. She would never bite...

Nu Vet Plus, Welltabs, and Nzyme Treats- opinions?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I've been giving Gingerbread Nzymes Antioxidant treats to boost his immune system (hopefully helping with allergies). I'm trying to decide whether to re-order those when I run out, or try a different supplement. The ones that looked best to me were Nuvet Plus and Welltabs. I'm wondering...

Is lamb & rice better than chicken & rice?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Someone told me it's more beneficial if you give Lamb & rice rather than Chicken because Lamb is graze fed whereas Chicken's are fed by products, hormones, and kept in unsanitary enclosed environments..... Is that true?

Muzzling a Staff.
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I live in an apartment building and one of my neighbours has an 11 month old Staff. A very out of control, aggressive Staff who hones in on other dogs and it takes everything the owners have to keep him from breaking free. I meet him just about every day on the lawn of our building. I'm not quite...

Family Swear Words Part 2: Old Timers
Posted to:

Anyone using archaic swear words that were taught to you by your old, outdated, crazy, embarassing parents? You should have seen the look on some 16 year old's face in a Mc Donald's when I yelled, "Balderdash! That's total Horsehockey!!" for my order taking ten minutes to make....
