CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR CA ...

It looks like Phil Angelides won the Democratic nomination for Governor and maybe, just maybe, we can send the *Governator* either back to Austria, or at least back to Hollywood. And maybe, just maybe, California will stop looking to Hollywood (and other strange places) for leaders. Joyce & Max

Dog(s) sleep with humans.

Is it ok for dog(s) to sleep on bed with a person/people during night time? I heard negative things about it, but I still think it ok for dog(s) to sleep on our bed. Also, where is a good place on the bed for the dog to sleep on?

Anyone heard of " BRIGHTLIFE "
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have a 3 yr old Lab who is on Nutro's Lg. Breed weight Management and I want to switch him to a better food. I heard Nutro is heavy in grains and he needs to loose a few Lb's. Has anyone ever heard of BrightLife? Is this better than Nutro.? I am also thinking about Ennova. Any suggestions?...

Collie Prices?

Choosing A Dog
I was just wondering, how much do Collies generally sell for? Im just curious to know if my purchase was on the high end, low end or average purchase price. Do Rough Collies generally sell for more than Smooth Collies or viceversa? Just curious!

My recently adopted 6 year old 10 pound toy poodle has a sensitive stomach, I already figured that out. I've kept him on the diet he had in his previous home, Nutro Lamb and Rice small bites, because that's all he can tolerate. Any tiny addition and he experiences gastro distress. A small piece...

Do dogs get Salmonella
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
After throwing up for 12 hours and diarrhea we took our dog to the vet. 24 hours before he had a raw chicken drumstick. The vet said never never to give him that again because they can get salmonella just like we do. After doing x-rays and blood work they couldn#%92t find anything wrong with him. Now...

I homecook for my dog. Are tomatoes okay to give him? If yes, with or without the skin and seeds? What nutritional value do tomatoes have for a dog? The recipe I have calls for tomatoes, but I thought tomatoes were bad for dogs. What can I substitute for the tomatoes? Is it okay to also put in a recipe...
