Help - Apartment to New House!

Our dog is two years old and has lived in an apartment that entire time.  While living there, we took her out on a leash for all "bathroom breaks."  We recently moved into a house where she can go out into the backyard if she's tied up to a lead.  As of right now, she just stays on the deck and sits by the door.  We've tried a few different things, but nothing seems to be working.  How do we get her to feel comfortable going to the bathroom out there and knowing that it's the place to go?

Hi welcome , first we need pictures of the pup and a name.
I would put her on the lead I'm assuming it is a 6ft or more and stand out there w/ her walk around the yard you can even hold the lead while it's tied, I would have some great treats for her so the minute I saw her finish I would tell her what a good girl she is for pooping or peeing whichever. Give her time she'll get the idea.
    Congrats on the house too

We were in the exact same situation a couple of years back.  2 yr old dog, always peed after a brief elevator ride and walk to the parkette.  New house, and she didn't want to walk on the grass, let alone pee on it.

Happily, that lasted all of about a week.  We woke up first thing on a Saturday morning, played an intense game of tag on the lawn, and in mid chase, she stopped and peed.  Since then, no problems (except yellow grass...)

I think the key was to get her out there first thing in the morning.  She couldn't hold it much longer!

Start introducing her to the big green 'monster'. Play with her in the yard around the time you know she is ready to go. Keep playing with her, she will eventually fell her bladder too full and will go on the grass. Praise her lots like when she was a puppy.

Alsso, when you take her out you can place her on the grass, instead of the deck and if she jumps on the deck take her off again
