Flea medicine - Advantage

Hi all, I just got my puppy to the vet today and he gave me some Advantage to stop her fleas. The directions were pretty straightforward but some of the medicine fell off my puppy onto the ground. Is it okay if a little bit falls off? Thanks!

My dog's littermate has been diagnosed with bacterial or viral hepatitis. His vet thought it might be cholangiohepatitis, but it's not. Her vet said it's "hereditary and prevalent in Dobes".
