    When do dogs stop growing?

I have a chihuahua/dachshund mix and she's almost 4 months old. I was wondering how long until she stops growing??

Roughly about a year, 4 mo. is about the half the size they will be when they are fully grown. However, they usally have puppie behavors for about two years. 5 years is middle age and 7 is what most consider a senior dog. Small dog will live around 7 to 14 years but can live up to 20 years with proper care.

Emma had a growth spurt just after her second birthday.

Every dog is different. Any quote you get is just an average[:D]

From Purina website: ;Puppies of different breeds at different ages grow at different rates, and puppies of different breeds grow at different rates.
To estimate the size of dog your puppy will grow up to be, use the chart on the right. Find your dog's age, and then draw a line straight up until you find your dog's weight. Then follow the nearest curve or make an imaginary one and follow it over to 30 months of age. Read the corresponding weight for that age. This will approximate the weight your dog will be at adulthood.Remember, this is only an estimate.
Generally, an adult dog will weigh about twice as much as he did when he was 4 months of age; giant breeds will double what they weighed at 5 months. The smaller the dog, the sooner in life they quit growing.

Depends on the breed some can have growth spurts at 2 years of age.
