My dog's littermate has been diagnosed with bacterial or viral hepatitis. His vet thought it might be
cholangiohepatitis, but it's not. Her vet said it's "hereditary and prevalent in Dobes". But I've never heard of it before.
Anyone have any experience with it -ie, symptoms, conditions that resulted in you finding it in your dog? I don't want to alarm myself, since the vet says her dog DOESN'T have it. I also plan on talking to my vet and running blood panels this month. But I wanted to get some feedback from anyone else experienced with it.
