What about adopting from pet stores?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
We have been discussing about buying from pet stores. What about the pet stores that do adoptions? Petco here has a local rescue that uses their space to showcase the cats and kittens available and they bring in the rescue dogs every weekend. I actually am disgusted with this rescue. I see many sickly...

Training in a two dog house
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
Here is my dilemna: Living in a two-dog household, I have two very different dogs. My malinois (Lexi), who will quiver from a dirty look, and our mini schnauzer (Lilly), who is typical terrier bold in-your-face bundle of attitude. When I am working with the dogs in the house, it becomes difficult...

Crazy poop run

Training & Behavior
We have a 8-month old Shih Tzu. At first I thought he was schizophrenic or bi-polar or something because on occasion he'd INSTANTLY go from calm to super-hyper, running around the house at full speed - back and forth - jumping, barking, etc. In other words, he turns into a wild monster for a period...

I had posted a while ago about finding a low cost place to neuter my German Shepherd mix puppy and ended up finding one through Spay USA thanks to someone who gave me a link to a site for a specific state that had a link to Spay USA for those who didn't live in that state. I wasn't able to get...

Hey guys, this section is wonderful! This is the first forum I've been on that has a section like this! Anyway, I would like everyone to send good thoughts for my husband. Last September 7, he had horrible accident! While driving a 50-ton crane to a jobsite, the crane's engine shut off and...

Our three year old Shiba/Husky mix decided she was hungry while we were out today. She got into my grandson's room and helped herself to an entire container of fish food. She's been sick since then. She's vomited a number of times and is generally quiet. She doesn't seem to be in distress...

Maxi has a growth on her shoulder that started out looking like an insect bite about 5 days ago. It was just lump. 2 days ago it looked more like a rash. It was pink and had fur on it. Today it is bare, and VERY red, but it's not bloody. It's wet with puss (i think). It's still a lump and...
