We had to bring our boy to the vet yesterday because he broke a toenail down to the quick. The vet (not the one we regularly see, so a new person to Chase) said that it needed to come off, and that we could have him knocked out first, but that she really prefers to avoid that if possible. I'm currently fostering two of these little guys- the merle on the left and the tricolor in the middle. Mom looked like an Eskie mix (cream/white, spitz ears and tail, medium length coat) or very small husky X. Dad is unknown. Aussie is possible, but they're TINY- 4 and 5 pounds at 12 weeks.
