    Best guess on foster puppies?

I'm currently fostering two of these little guys- the merle on the left and the tricolor in the middle. Mom looked like an Eskie mix (cream/white, spitz ears and tail, medium length coat) or very small husky X. Dad is unknown. Aussie is possible, but they're TINY- 4 and 5 pounds at 12 weeks.

    Aussie probably.  They are cuties!

I'm going to go with Aussie. The little brown guy really doesn't fit in, but its possible that there was a different sire if she had possibly been bred more than once.

I was thinking Australlian Cattle Dog

Is that what you guys are talking about as an Aussie?

By Aussie, they mean Australian Shepherd.  Australian Cattle Dog would be ACD.  [:)

If they're small for an Aussie, could they be "Mini" Aussie mix?  I guess that's now a breed.  Not sure, but I do know I'm hearing about more of them.  That little brown one kind of reminds me of a Chihuahua mix.

There are 'mini' and 'toy' Aussies now too.  Not trying to start a debate here on the breeding of those, but if they stay small they could be a cross of one of those.  Those 3 pups definitely look like Aussies to me.

I thought sheltie x for  amoment because a small sheltie could be about that size at that age- Nikki was 3 lbs when we got her and is now 20 lbs.  But the pups really don't look like shelties to me.

The two pups in the middle look different from the outside two... either they favorite the other parent or there are two sires. Hard to tell with young puppies but the outside two look Aussie and the inside two have a bit of a terrier look to the face....

    I vote for aussie x.

I'm voting for Aussie crosses (Australian Shepherd).  See my Aussie crosses below!
