Ruby had her annual vet check-up on Saturday, and we left a stool sample because it had been a year since they checked it. We just got word from the vet and were shocked to hear that she tested positive for Giardia. She has NO symptoms: her stool is very normal (we call it "tootsie-roll-like"...

Summer is officially here. We hit 99 F yesterday. No wonder I was so hot yesterday working in the yard. The dogs enjoyed playing with the water hose. I hope Gin in AK is ok. After seeing the destruction caused by those storms, I've had her on my mind.

So on the news this morning, there was a story about a new dog law that was passed in a county here in california (sorry can't remember which) that bans the sale or giving away pets in public places. I thought it was interesting, I wonder if it will actually work, seems like from the story a lot...

have 9 dogs, all rescues and am actually a trainer but I have a one year old pug that I just rescued in December. She was basically locked in a bathroom then in a crate for days on end so she thinks that is where she is supposed to go. I have a big race car bed the othere dogs lay on during the day but...

Here we are half way through the work week. Feels like it should be Friday already. It's June bug season here. Gabby is in heaven munching them at every opportunity. She'll discretely pick one up as she comes in the house and lay on her bed munching and crunching.
