She only goes in her crate

have 9 dogs, all rescues and am actually a trainer but I have a one year old pug that I just rescued in December. She was basically locked in a bathroom then in a crate for days on end so she thinks that is where she is supposed to go. I have a big race car bed the othere dogs lay on during the day but Jolene pees and poops on it as she does on our bed and in her crate(all nut my 3 oldest sleep in crates. Any suggestions?

I'd tether her to you and treat her like a puppy.  I'm sure you have her on a regular feeding schedule and know about when she needs to go outside.  Take her out twice as often as you think you need to. You are rewarding her with treats and praise when she goes outside, right?  I like to walk dogs around in a figure 8 pattern while telling them to do their business.  I throw a party when they go outside, when I'm first house training a dog.   Don't scold her or punish her for accidents.   When you take her outside to potty, take her by herself without the other dogs around.

The only other suggestion I have is to assign her a large crate with pee pads in it.  Gradually start moving the pee pads towards the door you use to take the dogs outside.  You might speed up the process by keeping one of the soiled pads outside and walking her on lease to this pad when you take her out to do her business.  I'd also deny her access to your bed until you've made some progress on the housetraining.  The more she's allowed to go in inappropriate places the harder it will be to train her to go outside.

yes. Once a day with 9 it is impossible to do more(but they do get snacks. The rest of the story is her name should be the tasmanian devil instead of Jolene. If I tethered her to me she would surely kill me. What I am trying is instead of letting her run free in the yard during the day I have her in a crate in the living room and take her out every 30 minutes. This is day 3 and she pooped once and peed once so of course I did the positive reinforcement and high value snack but she gets so distracted. I have her in a small crate I just purchased(she was in a larger one) and so far she has not gone in it but goes in her nite nite crate and the race car bed is the worst but she so loves hanging with the other dogs(they are all well trained-well as well trained as a house with 9 dogs ranging from a 7 lb pom to a 3 legged pibble to a 125 dane/lab mix can be!

Im thinking about getting her really fat to slow her down(not really but she is a hot mess-biggest challenge I ve had in my 57 years!)

Oh she chases the great dane around the tree, tries to drag him by his lip, she has no idea she is 10 lbs.

She definitely sounds like a project dog.   She had a long time to develop her inappropriate bathroom habits so it's probably going to be a long road.  It's a good thing your Dane is tolerant of her antics. lol  Good luck with her and keep us posted.

Now I've got that song Jolene stuck in my head.  :)
