Dog freaks out over nail trimming

My dog freaks out and try's to bite when we do her nails or even trim the hair on her feet. She is not an agressive dog otherwise, the only thing I could do is put a muzzle on her so she doesn't bite me. I'm hoping she will get more comfortable with this procedure and I won't have to...

Our 8 month old male cockapoo sometimes (but not always) when let outside to do his business will have the tendency to pull up the grass in chunks and chew it and eat it.
