When to switch to senior food?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have 2 dogs, one's 5 and the other is 8. At the moment they're both on Nature's Variety Raw Instinct, but I've heard that older dogs shouldn't be overloaded with protein because it can be dangerous for their liver (or was it kidneys?). I don't want to give her liver disease...

Nutrition & Exercise
Sorry if this is not in the right place!! We've just brought Milo home (9wk) old JRT), the breeder was feeding Pedigree Chum Puppy Food. Now it's a long time since I had a puppy (about 12yrs) but I was under the impression that this is not a good thing to feed. So, I was wondering what...

I'm very scared and worried for my buddy right now, any suggestions or words of advice would be greatly appreciated. My 2 year old lab woke me up in the middle of the night by continually jumping in bed with us. (he's not allowed in the bed) I figured something was up and turned on the light...

Funny Dog Tales?
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I have several funny stories all about any of our pets. The most recent one was with Shannara the pekingese. This was when we were moving from Denver to Texas and in our hotel. At 3 a.m. someone was pushing one of the luggage carts by our door and Shaun heard this. She started barking but not her normal...
