• minimom Posted : 7/26/2006 6:41:29 PM Would YOU leave your puppy alone in a new house for 12-15 hrs at a time?  I'd do it all over again too, in my mind material goods are not on par with the happiness of my pet, sorry!   No I wouldn't leave a puppy or any dog alone for 12-15 hours at a time.  What I would have done is simply declined staying in his home from the get go because I would have known right off the bat that I would not want to keep my dog permanently confined to the kitchen.  I certainly put my pet's happiness over my material possessions...but I don't feel that I have the right to make that decision for other people and their belongings.  And no I wasn't/aren't scolding...or at least I don't mean to be.  I'm just overly sensitive about the topic because my wishes and requests have recently been ignored by a house guest and it's got me pretty darn grumpy.  But I'm glad in the end it all worked out for you and your pup was able to "legally" have the run of the house.  []     0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
