Food in the crate??
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
School is about to start, and Rudy will be left alone for longer periods of time during the day. We've left him for 3-4 hours during the day (to go shopping, etc.) and he's done wonderfully in his crate. But if we're gone for longer than that, I can't imagine him going without food...

Am I slowly killing my dogs???
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I just stumbled onto a website just now that has me really worried. When I switched my Shih Tzu, Charlie to a raw food diet almost two years ago, I felt I was doing something really good for him. For one thing, he would not eat his kibble - ANY kibble. I tried everything. I was SO THRILLED when he gobbled...

Well, I'm just doing it, because he is FINALLY eating
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have a 18 week old Lab/Coon who is a very picky eater and it is probably my fault. we started him on science diet, then switched to Natural Balance and then Bil-Jac. Well, he started well on all of them, but there were points where he wasn't eating for days. I was freaking out. So I figured out...

Cats Worse Than The Dog!
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
My cat is weird...he eats everything! [ ] I will give my pup samples of dog food and throw out pieces to the cat and he scarfs each and every piece up while my dog turns up his nose to them. How weird is that? Not only that, but my cat will scarf down his meals in a matter of minutes...and always follow...

Pet store puppy
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I bought a jug puppy from a local pet store three months ago. I didn't have any problems with the dog, but I am trying to figure out how I can learn more about my dog's history, where he came from, his parents, etc... Can anyone tell me how to do that?

Chew toys that will hold up
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Gosh, Sam is such a chewer. Fortunately, only with his chew toys- no furniture shoes ect. I am having a hard time finding chew toys that he doesn't destroy in 10min. He really likes sqeekies and stuffed toys but the really tough canvas ones don't even hold up. A couple of Ropes and a couple...

So allow me to provide some background first . . . we have a 17 year old cat named Andrew. Andrew is not just any cat though . . . to be blunt, he's retarded (literally). He can't run or jump, and has extremely poor coordination. (knows where his litter box is and how to use it though thank goodness...

does anyone know what breed of terrier this is?
Posted to:

I'm thinking about adopting this dog - I meet him tomorrow! The people at the shelter say he just recently arrived and they can't really get a good idea of his peronality traits because he is depressed I'm thinking that finding out about his breed would answer some questions. Terriers...

what are some ideas of a balance home fixed diet for a 95lb 12 month old who cannot eat egg?
