Oh YEAH! We adopted 2 from local HS, both were labeled as strays. Right from the moment we took them out of their boxes, Bonkers acted like a dog. Walked throughout the house checking everything, meowed non-stop, everytime we'd sit at the desk or on the couch, he'd get into our face & talk to us. When we went into the bathroom-he followed, the laundry room-he followed, the garge-he tried to follow but we wouldn't let him )they're indoor cats for fear of gators).
One night, we went to dinner & left Peanut outside, but left the patio door open for her. We came home & SU opened the living room glass door to let the cats out on the patio, but forgot to shut the patio door, they went out into the yard, of course. When we realized what happened, I told SU to shake their treats canister, he did & Bonkers came trotting back, Tigey ignored him.
Bonkers plays with the dogs as if he was one of them, drinks out of their bowls - I guess his water isn't tastey enough. He even eats with the dogs when I give the dogs home-cooked. 1/2 the time he sleeps with Peanut in her crate. Tigey is the "typical" cat, he loves a blanket to sleep on.
