Cats Worse Than The Dog!

    Cats Worse Than The Dog!

My cat is weird...he eats everything! [:D] I will give my pup samples of dog food and throw out pieces to the cat and he scarfs each and every piece up while my dog turns up his nose to them. How weird is that? Not only that, but my cat will scarf down his meals in a matter of minutes...and always follow me around wanting more.

He also whines when I leave the house...follows me around non-stop...etc...he is like a dog, seriously! I was always under the impression that cats kept to themselves most of the time and just did their own thing, wanting the occasional petting and so forth. My cat was born from a ferral mother and I saved him just in time, because he was way thin and on the verge of death. I guess this is just his way of thanking me...that's what I tell myself atleast! [;)]

Just wondering if anyone else has a cat that is like a dog? [:)]

Before we adopted Deuce, Charlie was far too dog-like. He didn't even meow right. It was more of a "murp murp" noise. Eventually, Deuce's more cat-like ways rubbed off on him, but he's still not-so-skilled at some things like jumping down from high places without slamming his head on the floor.

Oh YEAH!  We adopted 2 from local HS, both were labeled as strays.  Right from the moment we took them out of their boxes, Bonkers acted like a dog.  Walked throughout the house checking everything, meowed non-stop, everytime we'd sit at the desk or on the couch, he'd get into our face & talk to us.  When we went into the bathroom-he followed, the laundry room-he followed, the garge-he tried to follow but we wouldn't let him )they're indoor cats for fear of gators).
One night, we went to dinner & left Peanut outside, but left the patio door open for her.  We came home & SU opened the living room glass door to let the cats out on the patio, but forgot to shut the patio door, they went out into the yard, of course.  When we realized what happened, I told SU to shake their treats canister, he did & Bonkers came trotting back, Tigey ignored him.
Bonkers plays with the dogs as if he was one of them, drinks out of their bowls - I guess his water isn't tastey enough.  He even eats with the dogs when I give the dogs home-cooked.  1/2 the time he sleeps with Peanut in her crate.  Tigey is the "typical" cat, he loves a blanket to sleep on.

Oh and by the way...my cat actually "Growls!!" No joke...when people walk outside my house he growls, when he wants the dog to chase him he growls! I have never heard a cat growl before in my life...he amazes me everday! I am always like..."Was that the cat?!?!" [:D]

That's too cute.  Do you have any pictures of kitty you could post?
Bonkers learned to growl this year, when I brought Draico home.  It's his way of telling Draico to get out of his face!
