Sudden anxiety
My dog, Tyson (7 yr old 105 lb Black Lab Mix)has began this sudden anxiety and fear of going in the back yard. Tuesday I get a call that someone has found my dog. I rush home and check the fence (chain-link) and find no outs. There is one part of the fence that is lower (about 4.5 ft) so I figured that...

Leash, collar, tieout questions
This week we added a 7 1/2 week golden retriever to our family. He hasn't worn a collar and when I place one on him he scratches at it. He seems to be getting somewhat use to it. I tried to place a leash on him to teach him how to walk on a leash but he pulls the other way. The same with the chain...

Puppy Litter box training
Hello, I am looking for suggestions. We are litter box training our puppy. He's 7 months old and has been doing really good. He had a few weeks where he just started to forget where he was supposed to go, and he was just being stupid in general -- then we got him neutered. All that changed, thank...

This is the first time I have ever posted in a dog forrum, however I really need help! I have male llasa-poo, who is a little over a year. He has always been very shy and timid, sometimes fearful when put in a new situation, but NEVER aggressive. He is actually extremely submissive. I have had him since...

Then this week she decided to chew my husbands palm tree leaves. I caught her doing that and she stopped. Now I have a new problem...

attack was the final straw - may need to give him up
I've posted on here before, but here's the awful situation as briefly as possible: Eight months ago my wife and I adopted a rescued JRT/Beagle mix. We think he is about 4 years old. Our understanding is that he came out of an abusive situation. He is very sweet and loving and extremely...

digging
does anyone have any recommendations to deter my 5 month old from digging? he is digging holes in the yard and then re-digging where we have put top soil and seed. He is not burying anything, just digging for the sake of digging it seems! Any behavior mod you can think of? Any thing I can put on/in the...

Digging!
How can I make my dog stop digging in the backyard? We rent and share the yard with our landlords who also have dogs. We know that their dog digs but she is a small dog who can't do much damage. My border collie/lab mix, however, can really go for it. We don't leave her alone outside much and...
