    Petastic Question

I was wondering can I used Petastic in a carpet washing machine?

    Hi Danger,

I am assuming you are talking about a carpet cleaner.  I don't think it's a good idea, to tell you the truth.  The solutions to put in a carpet cleaner are specially formulated and very dilute so as to not suds up too much AND to leave your carpet clean and not sticky.  I'm afraid too much Petastic may gum up your carpet.  What you could do is lightly spray the carpet with the Petastic and then use the carpet cleaner as usual.  I have a Bissell Pro Steamer that works great.  I use the regular solution in it for carpets, it comes in a blue bottle.  I've always wondered if they have other products, like for stubborn stains or pet odors, I bet they do.

Actually, no what you need to do is to SATURATE the urine spot and let it be.  Just let it sit there until it dries on its own.  Lightly spraying is NOT going to get down into the pad, and you'd better believe that the pee is down there too.  Just removing the smell from the carpeting doesn't remove the WHOLE smell so you've gotta get it down into the pad as well.

Get some baking soad and rub it on to the spot than ;pour some white vinegar over the baking soad and let it dry after it has dryed vacuum it up. This is also good for pet vomit and pet poop.
