Pet Insurance
Hi everyone, I've decided to get pet insurance for my boys. My boys aren't sick and have not been diagnosed with any illness or anything. I feel more peace of mind if I have it for them in case of an emergency. A co-worker of mines just spent $5000 out of pocket for an emergency surgery...

GI obstruction??
I'm pretty sure that my 8 month old border collie mix, Maddie, managed to swallow the 4 inch end of her bully stick on Monday evening because I was a total moron and got distracted when she was nearing the end of it : ( She was totally normal yesterday until the evening, when she seemed a little...

Belly button?
This isn't entirely relevant to this forum, but none of them were and it's kind of an odd question. How long can a dogs "belly button" be? I apologize for not having a picture at this time, I can try if it's necessary. The reason I ask is that I have a neutered male rescue (beagle...

You can tell if your dog has already been vax'd???
Found this and I thought it was really really cool. Great for puppies... I'm one of those really paranoid people wondering when it's okay to take Royce out. http://www.biogal.co.il/biogal/Publications/The-ImmunoComb-Canine/ Anyone know if the ImmunoComb works and how much it costs...

Tasha's Surgery
She had minor surgery this morning to remove a lump on her leg. Same leg as Wyatt, same kind of scenario, but the vet just called and said she was done, she was waking up and I can get her at 1pm. :D Yay! Now let's hope our results are as good as Wyatt's!! :D

Dose anybody have experience or knowledge about this my brothers GSD was recently diagnosed with this, without x-rays. From what i've read online it sounds like x-rays would be necissary for the diagnosis?????

Those with dogs with sensitive stomachs (Janice)
Not sure if this should go here or under Nutrition, so mods, feel free to move it. Jessie has chronic pancreatitis and needs a low fat (10%or less) diet. I think she may also do better on a diet with more fiber, rather than less. Last spring I tried California Natural Low Fat Rice and Lamb; it's...
