Dog having serious flea problems

Hi and welcome.  You will find many different opinions here, many very knowledgeble folks here.  Personally frontline has not worked for us...I do however have more problems with ticks instead of fleas and it didnt work well for pets in the past so I use Advantix.  I am not crazy about it either. In the warmer days when ticks are more of a problem I feed my boys garlic in their dinner and last year had just as much success with that as the Advantix. 

I, too, haven't had good luck with Frontline in recent years.  But neither do I like the ingredients in Advantix, and I've had a really bad experience with some others (there are many discussions on here about flea treatments -- it would be productive for you to search for them.)

I've honestly gone back to using plain old Advantage with really good results. 

Advantage-Multi is really bad, in my opinion -- that uses moxidectin, the drug that was in ProHeart 6 that killed so many dogs.  I won't use anything that is systemic, including those that go thru the skin to stay in the bloodstream for a long period like Revolution

I was having my Dog named Jimmy, I don't know what happened with him, before two days of his death, he was having pain in his leg, I always be in contact with *removed by moderator* for finding the solution of his problems, but this time, I was not able to do any thing, This make me feel guilty. I really wanna my jimmy back, but now, Its not possible. :(
