Children's Benadryl for 10 week old puppy shots?
Posted to: Health & Grooming
I have a 9 week old Cavachon (about 6-7 lbs) that needs to get routine puppy vaccines next week. The vet told me to give her 2.0 ml of Children's Benadryl 30 mins prior to shots when I bring her in next week. Is it really advisable that I give the Benadryl as a safe guard to side effects for immunizations...

Problems navigating

I know they tried hard to make a good forum, but I can not figure out how to navigate . Page numbers worked for a while, but some "improvement" removed those. I know it's not equivalent to loosing my voting rights, or loosing a drivers license, but it is becoming painful. I may have to...

Chat for Month of March 2015

Hope this ends up in the right place. Our daily chats turned into weekly chats, and now those are dying, so let's try a monthly one. I have a sad feeling we'll be checking in annually, if at all, in the near future. :-( I hope everyone is doing well, especially those of you still dealing with...

I already paid them $217 to look at him and $38.50 for meds. Just to do x-rays she want $400 and stated that surgery...

Just wanted to let everyone know that I was one of those dog owners that lost 5 young dogs to Menu foods years ago. Dog spayed and red hemorrhaging
Posted to: Health & Grooming
We recently adopted a dog from the shelter on Wednesday. She was spayed on Tuesday. Today, I noticed a red hemorrhaging spot. My husband said he noticed it yesterday but it seemed smaller and more circular. I dabbed it with a dry cotton ball and no blood came off, and I dabbed it with a wet, and nothing...
