How serious is all these dog food recalls, warnings, etc, being taken? Well, most of the golden retriever forums and a few all breed forums that i belong to have set up a seperate topic PET FOOD WARNINGS, RECALLS, or something along those lines. you got your nutirtion topic, and then the new added one...

I went through food HELL to find something that worked for Boomer. He doesn't have IBD or IBS, but he's got to be borderline. Well, the food that finally worked so well got recalled and we have to switch with no transition. We're switching from Sensible Choice Lamb & Rice to Eagle...

This weekend DH wants to get rid of 2 extra couch#%92s we have and the coffee table we never use plus a bunch of junk cluttering the garage. It occurred to me as I was looking around the house this morning that are home is getting more and more empty. This trend has been happening since we adopted dogs...

Ok, im sorry if this isnt the kind of thing this board is usually used for, but my dog ate an entire pack of trident earlier tonight. I have read were xylitol is what is used for the artificial sweetener in this gum, and is poisoness to dogs. We plan to take her to the vet or at least call in the morning...

I have a 4 year old Rottie that I digging up my backyard. She doesn't dig just in one spot, but she digs little holes this stop and digs another hole and stops and keeps on going. She was digging around the fence as well so I put chicken wire around the bottom of the fence but now she is digging...

I've seen mention of using pumpkin for digestive problems, but I don't know the details. How much would you give to a 50 lb. dog? And, do you just mix it with a regular meal, give separately, or skip the regular meal and feed pumpkin instead?
