Beau has come a long way since I got him a little over a month ago. He's really come out of his shell and most importantly - I've discovered a high value food (cheese and these little cookies called "Bits" that my mom's dog loves) so we are beginning our obedience training. I've...

Anyone's dog had one? My Belle has two on her tail. They have not grown but one did "pop" and then come back. The vet I spoke with at PetSmart said she likes to take them off and Belle's vet said they aren't anything to worry about and they should be lift. I am thinking the later. Anyone had experience...

Yesterday I bought calves liver. I never cooked it before and when I put it in the pan it was surrounded by reddish brown goop. I rinsed it off and fried it. When it cooled alot of it turned greenish. What happened?

YEAY! Trudy got her first Q!
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
Just gto back from our first obedience trial ever. Trudy got her first Q and a 3rd Place ribbon. I was mostly impressed with her ringside behavior. She started being her usual wild, social butterfly self when we got there, but simmered down to a well behaved young lady. We actually missed the first trial...

okay this is going to be long. I am a poodle breeder and recently I started having some puppies get sick. They were diagnosed with Parvo. So I did everything my Veterinarian told me. I believed I had rid my home of this horrible disease. But then all of a sudden my puppies began to get sick again. One...

King Charles pooping in the house
Posted to:

I have a King Charles Spaniel that is about a year and a half old. In the past few weeks he has started pooping in the house again, after being trained for several months. A perfect example happened tonight, he was scratching at the door to go out. I walked out into the yard with him and he just stood...
