Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I got a puppy about a month ago who was a few days shy of 6 weeks old at the time. They were getting rid of them and said if not taken then they were getting "knocked in the head" so ya know it was a bad situation. Anyway he is a great puppy but has a real fear of urinating or having a bowel...

I thought they deleted old pages, but I just found Marlowe's [link http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displaypet.cgi?petid=6144265]original Petfinder page![/link] Crazy! He actually doesn't look that much different. He was underweight but the angle of the pictures doesn't really show...

I will be getting my bundle of joy Sunday morning. I am super excited!!! I just wanted to know if any of you had any tips on house training and crate training. I will crate her when I am not able to supervise her at all times to avoid any accidents in the house. I am going to use a jingle bell on the...

Yeay! Trudy did a clean Run in 55 sec.

We had our last agility class last night. We did a UKC Intermediate course (19 obstacles with weaves and a down crawl, to boot). We were timed and judged and Trudy did a clean run in 55 sec.! Trudy has been struggling with the teeter for a while now and this was a huge breakthrough. I bought...

Help Please

So our new puppy is going in his crate. I spoke with a vet that I work with and she said that some puppies who are from animal control or the humane society have lost in inhibition against going in the crate. He's not in the crate all that often and for now is being watched most of the time. We confine...

ok, so i think clicker training at least jason (for now) would be a GREAT idea. problem: i have NEVER seen a clicker here. any way, i could use something else, for the same purpose? also: the reason, i wanna clicker-train jason specifically is, that he will sometimes refuse treats. (when he is...

Does anybody do that? the behaviourist said it might be a good idea for my guy, but uhm...the logistics don't quite fit. He eats 4 cups of dry food in the morning and another 4 in the afternoon. I haven't measured, but I'm guessing we would need at least three of the large kongs to have a...

Hi everyone! I'm Bella. I have a three year old male neutered weim, named Duke. He is the quirkiest silliest dog I've ever owned, and we love him to death. I'd always had border collies, so we researched weims a lot before we actually got him, and thought we were up to the challenge. So...

Disappointed with Orka Jack

I must say that I'm quite disappointed with the Orka Jack. I bought two, one for Rose and one for Colton. Colton shreds stuffed toys occassionally but has never demolished something like this so easily. Within ten minutes, one of the spikes is broken off. It takes him longer to eat his dinner! In...

How long does this last? Copper is a little over a year and he is constantly wanting to tear up (anything fabric) and chew on his toys (anything rubber/hard). He's 1/2 Australian Shepherd. I thought he would be out of it by now or am I just mistaken?
