Look what I just found!

Oh there is a definite "glint" in his eyes now.  You can see he WAS lost then but is certainly happier looking now!  He's home.

Lol!  Funny.  Marlowe is a handsome man, neat that he was once a hunting doggie too.

I actually found that link by going back and perusing some of my old livejournal entries from around when I adopted him. And I remarked then that while he didn't know any commands, if you put him into a position he'd just look at you like, "I don't know what on earth you're trying to do, but whatever. I'll give it a shot if it'll get me out of here." All of the adoption counselors were totally in love with him and his big ears and couldn't stop playing with them. I was actually there when they took his pictures (I think that's my leash he's wearing) and it was hard because all he wanted to do was hug us all day long. He looks like he's all smiling and happy in the shot with his mouth open but I think they just caught him mid-yawn because he was most definately not happy.

I love how his little blurb makes him sound so perfect and wonderful. Temperment's important, but it's only half the battle y'all!

I honestly find it hard to imagine him homeless...  It's weird for me to see him while he was up for adoption...

I'm grateful too that "Bubba" has a new name.....
