Is there a way to keep toads out of the swimming pool?

I know that's probably a stupid question, but maybe someone here knows something I don't. I'm pulling out several per night... and I don't always see them before they die [sm=sad.gif]

Licking where she shouldn't!
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
I have a 19 month old golden retriever x rottie. She is not fixed. Since her last season she has been licking her private parts far too often! She licks down there about every twenty minutes. I have checked and it is not raw or inflamed. My other two females dont do this and they are fixed. Is this normal...

How do I get my Lab to respect the street and CARS
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
My 14 month old Lab is happy go lucky. But that doesn't transfer to good behavior on those occasions when he finds an open gate, or slips the leash when we're going from the car to the house. He's likely as not to bolt for our neighbor's house where his playmate is, and if there is a...

I backed my car into a semi, and when I got home to take a pic.. Ginger was right there checking it out. I thought it was kind of funny. I'm sure she's thinking, "What did you do to my car?" Lol!

laid up and need ideas
Posted to:
Training & Behavior
I'm looking at another month or two of being laid up with this *#$@! broken ankle. Any suggestions on things I can do to keep my 3y/o Irish/Golden entertained, both physically and mentally? He is getting antsy & I don't want him to "find" something to do to keep himself occupied...

Saw Ear
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Holly is a 23 month old pugalier. I rescued her from a shelter almost a year ago. When we got her we noticed she had a slight irritation in her ear. I left it alone and kept my eye on it. After a few months it didn't go so I took her to the vet and the vet gave anti-biotics and that was it. Her ear...

Strange neighbors
Posted to:
News & Entertainment
Bit of a long story. I don't know what I should do. Girl across from me lives with a man in his 40's. They've been here longer than me. Her dashound(spelling) has wondered over a few times and I bring him back to them, so we started talking. Other neighbours gossip about them, saying they...

Soy for flaky skin
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
My female golden retiever, Dilly, had extremely flaky, itchy skin. I took her to vets to be told she had allergies and spent alot of money on vet bills. She's a little over two and has only had one heat cycle so thought I'd try giving her some soy suppliments that I was taking. After 1 1/2 months...

So I posted some time ago about how my husband did not want Gibbon neutered. I eventually convinced him and we had him neutered last Thursday. Gibbon is doing really well except for one issue. He started to have accidents in the apartment. He was fine through Sunday. Then yesterday and today, in the...
