His “Heel” is still not perfect but he walks on a loose leash right next to me 97% of the time. Now let me say this, Joey LOVES...

Mom almost lost the barn last night...

We pulled in to drop my sister and her family off (had been up there for a funeral), and saw smoke coming out of the barn. My husband, son , sister and her boyfriend started tracking it down (I stayed out in the driveway with my 6 year old niece). They were assuming it was one of the lights in the stalls...

A Trainer's Dogs
Posted to: News & Entertainment
I was thinking of doing an advanced obedience class with Little Misty, just for the fun of it and to fine tune her a bit more. So, I went to observe a class a local trainer was running, upon her invitatiion, to see how it was run. At one point in the class, she retrieved her two dogs from her house to...

My boyfriend and I have a 6 month old female Border Collie/Australian Shepherd Mix. She has recently in the past month began humping. She only humps my boyfriend, never me. When he sits in a chair and stretches his legs out she jumps on his legs and begins humping. When we are laying in bed she climbs...

A month ago, Mika took antibiotics (Clavamox then Augmentin) for a swollen teat. The teat shrank a little, but it is still unnaturally large. She has had a problem with itching/scratching, licking, chewing her paws, biting at her fur, rubbing her eyes and sneezing (twice in a row at the most). She scratches...

major YAY Molly

her behaviorist said to work on the NILF theory. Mostly with playtime. She gives us a tennis ball and she has to do something to get it tossed. We tell her to sit. She does that so I started with "paw" and taking her paw in my hand. She doesn't like that at all but we had to go beyound...

Haven't seen you post in a couple of weeks - hope everything is okay in your world. Jules called us doodyheads when we didn't wonder about her, so wanted to avoid making someone feel like we didn't care. [ ]

My dog is wild!! Please Help!

My dog Chico is an adorable German Shepard/Border Collie/Lab mix, and he can be very sweet, but when it comes to trusting us with things like touching his feet, or putting him in different positions, he can turn to his instint and bite and snarl at us! We tried a puppy training program, and did see...
