Changed Food
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I am new to the forums, and I wanted some advice on my dog. I changed his food because I'm a novice dog owner and decided he might want something new. I changed it from Pedigree regular dog food, to Purina Dog Chow (primarily because of their advertisement on TV--GRRRR). Unfortunately, my dog started...

When you first get your pup, do you feed it the same food you would for a grown dog? Like the food in those bags, or do you have to buy something special?

Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I just had my 11 year old black lab neutered to cut down on the aggression toward my wife's male dog. He also got neutered last week. Does the male dog body require a time period for their hormones to subside in their body after neutering? I would assume that the aggression won't decrease...

Does anyone use a pressure cooker for home cooked?
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
I have been eyeing a pressure cooker for months, for chicken thighs and things of that manner. Does anyone here use one? I was just hoping to get some information about them. I heard a horror story from my Grandma about one when she was cooking beans, and it blew a hole in the ceiling. This was also...

My puppy went to puppy kindergarten and knows come, down, wait, sit, leave it, drop it and shake. Now I'm not planning on doing another class for a few months and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what to teach her next.

I have a lab who had a toe lanced about 2 weeks ago thanks to an infection he got from a grass seed or something that worked its way under his nail. He's taken keflex (an antibiotic) while he's been healing, and I got the all clear from the vet last week to run him again and let him get some...

I purchased 2 cooling jackets for my 2 furry kids. The boy was pouting because he had just finished training (I think I pushed him a little too hard) and he didn't want to pose for the pic. He was being a pouty boy. And the girl's jacket is still a bit big but she's only 9 months old so I'm...
