Posted to:

The local rescue group that I try to help has a new pup in they named Lexus. To me she looks like a brindle Boston Terrier pup  ossible mixed with Beagle. Wish I had a pic to show but they do not have one on Petfinder yet. So I need a cute breed name for her info sheet - I was thinking...

Treat aggression with a little dog
Posted to:

I never realized I had this problem until today. I have a 4 year old Pom, Diddy, who's extremely friendly and would never bite anyone... or so I thought. Well today him and our 8 month old gsd pup, Haygl, were having their marrow bones. I gave Diddy the smaller one, but somehow they swapped bones...

Limping Concern
Posted to:
Health & Grooming
I have a 1 year old Australian Shepard/Beagle mix. While playing with the kids she hurt her left back leg and started limping. I took her to the vet on 6/15/06 and he examined her and didn't feel anything out of the ordinary and gave me anti-inflamitorys to give her. The Vet said that she's so...

Hey all, My darling 5 month old husky mix pup is doing great. However I am having a bit of problem with begging. He's never had a bit of human food (except peanut butter covered medicine) and he's becoming extremely annoying during our meal times. We have tried pushing him away while saying...

How many hours do you guys keep your dogs in the crate? What would be the maximum amount of time you'd keep him/her there when you are gone?

are you for or against? and why? Me I have no problems with the actual surgeries, I think many breeds look better with it done like boxers, dobes and bouvs. I have problems with people getting it done and not knowing how to care for it so the dog ends up with horns, or doesnt find a vet that does...

Switching to adult food
Posted to:
Nutrition & Exercise
How old should my pup be before he is switched to an adult formula? I've heard a lot of different things, and i'm quite confused. He looks to me like he is a little bit chubby...i think that adult food may slim him down a bit. He's 7 mos right now and eats large breed puppy food.

Otherwise entitled, Best New Dog Toys Ever! This morning I came across a box of onesided socks that I had at the house before last. You know one of those boxes that never got unpacked. I feed my 2 year-old dog Sensible Choice Adult Chicken and Rice. However, I was in rush and picked up Sensible Choice Puppy food by accident. I took a look at the puppy ingredient and it contained the following that the adult food didn't have: monosodium phosphate, DL-methionine, L-lysine, ...
