I've heard a lot of different things, and i'm quite confused. He looks to me like he is a little bit chubby...i think that adult food may slim him down a bit. He's 7 mos right now and eats large breed puppy food. • shamrockmommy Posted : 7/12/2006 10:37:56 PM Small dogs: 1 year switch to adult food Big dogs: 7 to 9 months switch to adult food (but increase amounts as needed)   Or All Life Stages and follow the directions- usually means feeding more food and/or more frequently throughout the day.   Not sure what I will do in the event I ever get another puppy (will be years from now).  I love what PetGuard is doing for my guys and it's all life stages. I've raised every foster pup since her on all life stages food, and they've done fantastically well.
